Sydney Harbour Concours founder and classic car curator, James Nicholls, was honoured to be invited as an international judge at the 2024 Valletta Concours. James joined a remarkable jury panel comprising international industry iconic designers and automotive connoisseurs in Malta in early June. The Valletta Concours, renowned for its celebration of classic automobiles, showcased a stunning line-up of vehicles across various classes. Despite fierce competition, it was Yohan Poonawalla’s 1928 boat-tailed Rolls-Royce Experimental Sports Phantom 17EX that the judges awarded ‘Best in Show’.

As the European summer commenced, so did haute automobilisme and the enchanting world of concours. We were delighted to attend the Salon Privé Grand Tour of the Italian Lakes and the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, both graced with some of the world’s most luxurious and rare automobiles.
