Whilst I was judging last month at Salon Privé and at Chantilly Arts & Elegance I was lucky enough to spend time talking with and enjoying the company of some of the leading car designers in the world.
One who I enjoyed chatting to very much was Pierre Leclerq, Head of Citroën Design – of course we talked about the iconic Citroën DS, and doesn’t everybody just love the marque’s latest creation which just been released to much acclaim – check it out here 2CV
I also had the privilege of judging alongside Anthony Villain who is Head of Design at Alpine who had the amazing Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye, created with the archetypal Lacoste crocodille, on display at the Château de Chantilly.
And then there was Bugatti Director of Design, Frank Heyl who has created the one off Brouillard which was seen in England and France.
