2027 Event Dates: Friday 26th February – Sunday 28th February - The 9th Edition

New Kid on the Block

The Northern Hemisphere concours season has started in earnest this weekend with the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and Fuori Concorso taking place simultaneously on the fabulous shores of Lake Como. Previously though the inaugural edition (after the postponement last year due the passing of the Pope) of the wonderful Anantara Concorso Roma took place on 17th – 19th April, whilst Salon Privé London returned on the same weekend at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.

Impossible to be at both events in April, the Eternal City won out over my home town, for as they say, “all roads lead to Rome”. 70 fantastic Italian cars were presented at the impressive Casina Valadier. If ever there was an event to encapsulate la dolce vita, it is the new Anantara Concorso Roma, presented by UBS. A spectacular collection of automobili Italiane from around the world, showcasing the finest Roman hospitality and impeccable Italian cuisine while celebrating over a hundred years of the country’s storied automotive history. And as the setting for this new and spectacular concours, there really is no place like Rome. Though having said that Chelsea is also very special too.
